FDA to Conduct Comprehensive Evaluation of Human Foods Program

On July 19, 2022, FDA Commissioner of Food and Drugs, Robert Califf, MD, ordered an evaluation of FDA’s Human Foods Program, which will include an assessment of processes and procedures, resources, and organizational structure. FDA has engaged the Reagan-Udall Foundation, working with external experts, to conduct the assessment.
